Immigration Questions

Immigrants are people that come from a different country. Some reasons that an immigrant would want to leave their home country is because maybe a war is going on and they do not feel safe, or maybe they are not allowed as much freedom for what they want and moving to a place like the Untied States could allow them that freedom. Or maybe they feel like they could have a better life than they do in their home country.

The United States can offer things like freedom of speech, religion and many other things. The United States has been affected by immigration in some good and some bad ways. Some of the good ways include learning about new cultures and all of their life styles, food, and traditions. Some bad things that have affected us include drug trafficking. People from other countries have smuggled drugs in to the U.S. Also, criminal activity. Some immigrants come to the U.S. and commit crimes then return back to their country.

My life has changed because i encounter immigrants in everyday life. I don't think it has been a bad nor the best thing to come into my life but it has changed me because i get to learn about them and see how my life is different than theirs.
