Why does everyone have to be so difficult? If they would just listen things would get done quicker. The poor little kid, Percival, fainted because he was so scared of the “beastie”. Jack wasn’t much help either! All he wanted to do was argue about everything anyone said. He is so ludicrous. Every time he would say something the crowd would start discursive. The meeting was supposed to be about how everything was turning chaotic. For example, people going to the bathroom by the food and the shelters when I clearly told everyone to go by the rocks. Also, people taking some of the fire from the top of the mountain to make a smaller fire. Why can’t they just use the big fir for everything? But once everyone started talking about the beastie things went crazy. There was lamentation coming from some people and others were jeered the people crying. Piggy said that we could just be scared of each other, like you thought someone was the beastie but really it was just one of us. Maurice said that it could have been a giant squid. The most affective reason on people was that it was a ghost. Great. Jack and I started arguing in front of everyone and now I am thinking about declining my right as chief and handing it over to jack. Simon and Piggy think that would be a bad idea. Especially Piggy. After the argument with me and jack everyone left and it was just Simon, Piggy, and me. Then all of the sudden we heard an ear piercing scream coming from somewhere. Then we realized it was coming from Percival lying in the grass. He was going crazy, he was living with an incantation and no one could help him. Not even himself.
